CHRISTINA STORM HINTS AT DIVORCE
On her Facebook account, Christina Storm shared an unexpected post this week about her relationship status.
The fashion model and actress posted photos of her wearing several pairs of stiletto heels.
She captioned the post: “Mmmmm… going through my cupboard.. decisions…which ones should I wear to divorce court..?”
The post came as a surprise to many of her followers.
When one questioned her decision to walk away from her marriage, Christina responded: “The end is nigh”.
Christina Storm is married to businessman Paul Nel, the father of her two youngest children.
The couple wed in 2013 after a whirlwind romance. They later welcomed two children, a daughter, Evie, and a son, Vince.
LOVE FOR JAMES SMALL
Christina Storm appears to have deleted all pictures of Paul Nel from her social media accounts. However, she still has plenty of her former love, the late rugby player, James Small, who died in 2019.
The model and the “bad boy of rugby” were a high-flying couple in the late 90s, known for their party lifestyle, with allegations of domestic violence, infidelity and substance abuse.
She told Rian van Heerden, of Laataand by Rian in April of their relationship: “We hit each other. We were young punks. I hurt him more than he hurt me. He was the only man who could look after me until the end.”
The couple split after the birth of their daughter, Ruby Small, in 2004.
Christina added that the late Springbok would “be the only love of my life, forever”.
After James Small’s death, Christina Storm spiralled into alcohol abuse and depression.
She continued during the interview: “It was awful. It was such a massive loss for my child, and to see my child go through that pain – her father was her best friend. It changed me as a person. I started having panic attacks, and a month later, I ended up in rehab for depression and anxiety.”
The 52-year-old also crashed her car while driving under the influence of alcohol. She had a month-long stint at an Alcoholics Anonymous programme.
She also made headlines a few years ago over concerns about her mental health after she made social media posts alluding to ending her life.
