Oklahoma State head coach Eric Morris shares recent armadillo incident

Eric Morris is looking to make a good first impression at his new job, but the new Oklahoma State head coach has had some distractions at home.
Morris recently told USA TODAY Sports about a visitor in his yard that's been causing some issues this offseason.

"My brain's going constantly," Morris said. "I don't sleep very well. I've had a couple armadillo problems tearing up my lawn. A couple days ago I just popped up at 2:30 (a.m.) because I couldn't sleep about something and I thought it was a great opportunity to go outside, and luckily I found him.

Then he heard the armadillo that’s been pestering his backyard.

Morris didn't just find the armadillo; he did something about it.
"But I got him about 2:30 (a.m.) and I sent a text message to my neighbors, 'I apologize for the gunshot.' I am in the country, so it wasn't illegal. But I did get rid of him just because I don't sleep right now," Morris said.
If Morris can't sleep moving forward, it will be mostly because of his fixation on getting the Cowboys back to relevance as opposed to pesky wildlife terrorizing his yard.
