Chelsea starlet Dastan Satpayev joins Burnley on season-long loan as Clarets boost Championship push

Chelsea have sent teenage forward Dastan Satpayev to Burnley on loan for the season.

Satpayev signed for Chelsea from Kairat Almaty for a fee of around £3.4m this summer, following an exciting emergence with the Kazakhstani side.

The 18-year-old scored scored 26 goals in 58 senior appearances for Kairat Almaty and was named KazakhstanPremier League Player of the Year after leading the division for goals in 2025.

Satpayev caught the eye during Chelsea's pre-season tour of Australia, scoring against Western Sydney Wanderers, and the West Londoners were keen to send him on loan to continue his development.

The teenager has now joined Burnley in a season-long arrangement, as the Clarets strengthen ahead of theirChampionship campaign. Burnley were relegated from the Premier League last season.

Satpayev is set to follow Manchester City youngster Max Alleyne in moving to Turf Moor, with the 21-year-old also nearing a loan switch to the club.

Satpayev's loan move to Burnley will include no purchase option, report theBBC, with the forward considered a part of Chelsea's long-term project.
