‘Heated Rivalry’ issues warning to obsessed fans in Toronto ahead of Season 2

That’s pretty much the message the Heated Rivalry team is sending its “incredible” fans as the hit show prepares to start production in Toronto on the second season.
“If you happen to come across one of our filming locations, please give our cast and crew the space they need to do what they do best,” reads a statement on the Crave series’ official Instagram account .
“Your support, enthusiasm, and kindness have meant the world to us,” continued the statement, which was also shared on production company Accent Aigu Entertainment’s page. “As we gear up for more Heated Rivalry, please help us in making it the best it can be.”
It added: “We promise it’ll be worth the wait!”
Stars spotted in Toronto
Filming for Season 2 has begun, with stars Hudson Williams, 25, and Connor Storrie, 26, spotted in the city in recent days.
The first season of the romantic sports drama, which follows the secret, years-long relationship between rival pro hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, was a massive hit, propelling both actors into superstardom since the show’s November 2025 premiere.
The newfound fame is so large that the actors have been forced to set boundaries following tense encounters with some of their more eager fans, commonly — and perhaps aptly — referred to as “Loons.”
Williams was filmed confronting a group of alleged autograph dealers during Paris Fashion Week, with the actor accusing them of following him to his residence.
Video of the encounter showed a frustrated Williams setting fire to one of his unsigned photographs. “This is f***ing weird,” he snapped at them. “You guys aren’t fans. You’re being really creepy.”
Storrie recently shut down a fan’s request for a selfie, according to Deuxmoi , saying, “Sorry I’m not doing photos right now, but it was really nice to meet you,” before rushing off.
Heated Rivalry is based on the Rachel Reid book of the same name.
Season 2 — which will be taken from The Long Game , the sixth book in the author’s “Game Changers” series — is expected to premiere in April 2027.
