Some 20,000 fans attended the match despite temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius.

Bayern are without their top stars, such as Harry Kane and Michael Olise, who are still on holidays following the World Cup. Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies and Lennert Karl also didn't travel as they are working on individual fitness programmes.

The trip to South Korea is part of the club's summer tour, which also includes a stop in Hong Kong, where they face Aston Villa on Friday.

Bayern start the season against Borussia Dortmund on August 22 in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup. Their first Bundesliga match is on Augsut 28 against VfB Stuttgart.
