Mets trade pitcher, outfielder to Chicago for Cubs’ for No. 2 prospect at deadline

The Chicago Cubs filled out their starting rotation and outfield needs in one trade Aug. 3, less than two hours before the 6 p.m. MLB trade deadline.

According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, the Cubs are getting outfielder Tyrone Taylor and starting pitcher Clay Holmes from the Mets for Jefferson Rojas, their No. 2 prospect.
