Former Georgia RB gets NFL tryout with the Colts

Former Georgia Bulldogs running back Kenny McIntosh did not take long to garner interest as an NFL free agent. McIntosh reportedly had a tryout with the Indianapolis Colts just days after the Seattle Seahawks waived him.

McIntosh is recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in training camp in 2025. McIntosh has shown flashes in the past and is a skilled receiver. He could find his way on to an NFL roster or practice squad this season as long as he is healthy.

The Colts have one of the best running backs in the NFL in Jonathan Taylor, but beyond Taylor Indianapolis has unproven depth. The Colts are projected to have DJ Giddens behind Taylor. However, no Colts running back outside of Taylor topped 100 rushing yards for the entire season in 2025.

The Seahawks drafted McIntosh in the seventh-round of the 2023 NFL Draft. The former Georgia standout has played in 20 career NFL games. He appeared in all 17 regular season games with Seattle in 2024. McIntosh has 31 carries for 172 yards in his NFL career. He is entering his fourth career NFL season.

He won pair of national titles at Georgia. McIntosh memorably had 126 total yards and a touchdown in Georgia's comeback win over Ohio State in the Peach Bowl.
