The Delhi Police said it has identified and blocked more than 400 Pakistan-based social media accounts allegedly spreading misinformation and rumours during the recent protests.
Addressing a media briefing, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sumit Jha said the accounts had also been active during Operation Sindoor and were attempting to exploit the current situation through edited videos and provocative posts aimed at misleading citizens and distracting students.

ICMR Forms Panel to Draft Transfer Policy
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has constituted a high-level committee chaired by Dr. Sanghamitra Pati, Additional Director General (IM), to frame a comprehensive transfer policy for employees in the Scientific, Technical and Administrative cadres across its headquarters, institutes and centres.
