On to the question, which was first posed by Marc Topkin a week ago, which jersey will the Rays retire next? We offered three candidates and y’all chose…
NONE.
This is a fair sentiment. It’s hard to project a number retirement on a player even if he’s already been an all-star twice at 23 years old, and there hasn’t been a ground swell for Rays Hall of Famer Carl Crawford or future Rays Hall of Famer Joe Maddon.
