Former Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and Phoenix Suns star Dillon Brooks have developed a love-hate relationship in recent years.
Brooks took things up a notch when he was present on the sidelines during Game 4 of James and the Lakers’ second-round series against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Suns veteran was seen laughing as James and co. struggled vs. the Thunder. It instantly became a meme, but Brooks has now revealed that it was James’ agent, Rich Paul, who helped him get the tickets.

Brooks’ revelation certainly didn’t land well among James’ critics, including Skip Bayless. So much so that the veteran NBA analyst begged Brooks not to sell out to LBJ.
Bayless even brought Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green into the conversation as he wants Brooks to avoid an enemy-to-friend path with James like the Dubs’ veteran.
“I just lost respect for Dillon Brooks, who admits he got his courtside seat at the Laker playoff game from Rich Paul. Come on, don’t sell out to LeBron,” Bayless said on X.
He added, “Don’t lose your ‘Dillon the Villain’ edge vs LBJ. Don’t turn into Draymond, going from LBJ enemy to business partner.”
Bayless claims he has lost all respect for Brooks as another NBA star is on the way to selling out to the King.
After all, if Brooks ends up on the Green path, it would mean one less player hates James, and this is something that Bayless doesn’t seem to be able to digest.
