The milestone means a lot to the Explorers, but it’s the connection and weight of those who contributed throughut the years that means even more.
“It’s just longevity and it’s a milestone for sure. To do it in the smallest market holds special meaning to me, holds special meaning into my heart. It’s something you’ll never forget,” Explorers manager Steve Montgomery said. “It’s a big thank you to the Siouxland community for all their support and over the years and all the support they’ve given us this year, we’ve had fantastic crowds. This includes ownership and the front office. It takes it takes everyone that gets no credit to have an organization stick around for this long and it’s a special place.”
The X’s look to go for the series sweep at Lincoln tonight at 6:35 p.m.
