Soccer fans heading to the World Cup final have been sent a warning about arriving to the stadium in plenty of time before kick-off.

More than 80,000 are expected to be in attendance at the New York New Jersey Stadium, but have faced warnings about possible glitches.

Reports have told fans heading to the game to arrive at the stadium as early as four hours before kick-off due to the FIFA system currently glitching, meaning that passes are not scanning and therefore forming long queues.
British journalist Rob Harris said: “Fans told to get to the World Cup final stadium now 4 hours before KO – already security staff saying FIFA system glitches not scanning passes and long queues forming.
“With extra security. People being misdirected around the stadium with a lack of stewarding and staffing.”
There have already been images going viral on social media of fans who have been misdirected to the wrong areas of the stadium and the lengthy queues beginning to form as Argentine and Spanish fans make their way.
