Memphis defeated Houston, 101-90, on July 18 in the NBA Summer League at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Former Tennessee basketball player Jahmai Mashack totaled 15 points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 16 minutes for the Grizzlies. He converted 4-of-8 field goal attempts, 3-of-7 three-point attempts and 2-of-2 two-point free throw attempts.

Memphis will next play Sunday versus Golden State in a championship game.
Tipoff between the Warriors and Grizzlies is slated for 9 p.m. EDT at Thomas & Mack Center. ESPN will televise the contest.
Golden State advanced to the championship game with a, 92-88, victory over the Lakers.
Mashack was selected in the second round by Memphis with the final pick in the 2025 NBA draft.
He played for the Vols from 2021-25. Mashack appeared in 137 games, including 59 starts, and was named as a 2025 Naismith Defensive Player finalist. He earned 2025 SEC All-Defensive Team honors.
