Despite showing she’s all the way back from her back injury, WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark is still on the Indiana Fever injury report ahead of the game against the New York Liberty on Saturday night.

Clark was on a straight heater on Friday night, with the Fever guard dropping 45 points and 10 assists in a 110-107 victory over the Seattle Storm.

With that showing, Clark became the first player in WNBA history to score 40-plus points and notch 10-plus assists in a game. The 45 points were a career-high for her and amount to a new single-game franchise record for the Fever.

Looking ahead to Saturday night, Clark is listed as probable. Here’s what we know about her status for the game against New York.

While Caitlin Clark (back) hasn’t been confirmed as available for Saturday night against the Liberty, the fact that she’s listed as probable strongly suggests she’s going to play.

Clark has routinely been listed as probable since returning from her injury, so this is nothing new for her.

By all accounts, Clark, whose 29 minutes were the most she has played since her return on July 8, came out of her historic performance against the Storm without any issues.

We should get a final update on her status in the hours before tip-off, but as of right now she should be expected to play.

We’ll update this page once more information is known.

There has been nothing to suggest Clark’s minutes will be limited on Saturday night, although we can’t totally rule out the possibility with this being the second game of a back-to-back.

Clark has been slowly building up her minutes since her return. She went from 15 minutes in his first game back, to 24 in the second, to 25 in the third and then 29 on Friday night.

Barring the Fever saying otherwise before tip-off, we’d expect Clark to play 30 minutes or more against the Liberty.
