Wild sign Daemon Hunt to one-year deal

Daemon Hunt will be back in St. Paul this season.
The Wild inked the 24-year-old defenseman to a one-year, $900,000 deal, the team announced on Sunday.

Minnesota drafted Hunt in the third round of the 2020 NHL Draft. The team re-acquired him off waivers last fall, and Hunt tallied six assists in 32 games for the team last season.
The deal came just prior to Hunt needing to decide whether or not he would file for arbitration.
