Everton eyeing Stade Reims winger Keito Nakamura
· Yahoo Sports
Everton have held talks with the entourage of Stade Reims winger Keito Nakamura over a potential summer move, according to the BBC. Everton manager David Moyes wants attacking reinforcements at Hill Dickinson Stadium and the Japan international has caught the Toffees’ eye. Nakamura has an agreement in place with Reims that he can leave for a top-flight club for around £21.5 million this summer. The 26-year-old Everton target is keen on a move to the Premier League, with Bournemouth and Fulham also keen.
The attacker played four games at the World Cup, scoring a goal in the 2-2 draw against the Netherlands and weighing in with an assist in Japan’s 4-0 demolition of Tunisia. Nakamura was named in Opta’s team of the group stage and Everton are looking to tip others to his services. However, the Toffees would need to see attackers leave before making a concrete move. Both Thierno Barry and Beto have been linked with summer exits.

The Toffees could do with Nakamura’s pace in the final third, and his ability to cut inside and shoot will also come in handy. Moyes would love his work rate should a deal work out, but nothing is on the cards right now.
