It’s still be early in the 2026 WNBA season. However, NBA legend Chris Bosh already has a prediction on who will win the title this year. He chose the Minnesota Lynx and explained his pick on Sunday.

The team has the best record in the league at 15-4. It has also won five of its last six games and dominating without Napheesa Collier. She continues to recover from left ankle surgery.

Bosh highlighted Minnesota’s win over Dallas on Sunday and gave a shout out to its top performers this campaign.

“The Minnesota Lynx are my pick to win the championship in the W,” Bosh said. “They’re killing it right now. Just had a big win in Dallas. Snapped a six-game home-winning streak. Dallas has been balling right now. Paige Bueckers, she’s incredible. She’s been balling. They’ve been doing very well. But check this out: they’re 15-4. The Lynx are there, 15-4 right now. 9-1 on the road.

“They have a tremendous backcourt with Courtney Williams, with Kayla McBride, with Olivia Miller (Miles). If you haven’t seen Olivia Miller, I’m not even gassing her or anything. She’s cold. She can play.”

The two-time NBA champion added that Collier’s return will make the Lynx “unbeatable.”

“They have a complete team, and this is without an MVP candidate, Napheesa Collier,” Bosh said. “So they’re doing well without Napheesa. Once they get her back, I think they will be unbeatable.”

Will Chris Bosh’s prediction happen?

Bosh made some valid points. Olivia Miles has been phenomenal and is leading the Rookie of the Year race. Collier has started light conditioning work but remains without a concrete timeline for a return. She could play later this season, giving Minnesota an inside presence that would give the rookie easier looks.

The Las Vegas Aces and the New York Liberty, among other contenders, are expected to give the Lynx a run for their money. However, Bosh is already convinced that they will lift the trophy at the end of season. It remains to be seen if his prediction will hold true, but Minnesota has a strong case to be considered the favorites.
