Wimbledon: Who are the BBC commentators, pundits and presenters?
· Yahoo Sports
Wimbledon will bid farewell to one its best-known voices as commentator Andrew Castle leaves the BBC.
Visit mwafrika.life for more information.
Castle, a former British No 1 with a career-high ranking of 80, produced the commentary for several iconic moments in Wimbledon history, including Andy Murray’s 2013 title.
The BBC announced that this will be his last Wimbledon, after more than 20 years with the broadcaster, while unveiling several new pundits for this year’s Championships.
They include two-time Wimbledon mixed doubles champion Jamie Murray, who becomes the BBC’s “dedicated analysis expert”, as well as former British No 1 Laura Robson.
Along with the usual cast of pundits that includes Tim Henman, Annabel Croft, John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova, Pat Cash and Tracy Austin, the BBC also confirmed the arrivals of eight-time grand slam champion Andre Agassi and former Wimbledon runner-up Eugenie Bouchard.
Clare Balding and Isa Guha will present live coverage throughout the Wimbledon fortnight.
