On Saturday, June 6, the Dallas Cowboys linebacker, 25, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Alexis Babino, in an East Texas wedding ceremony — and it left him feeling like a “brand new man.”

“I already feel like I'm times 10 aura,” Overshown told CBS 19 of how he was feeling after saying “I do.”

During the ceremony, the athlete sported an all-white suit paired with a bolo tie and a black cowboy hat. Meanwhile, Alexis walked down the aisle in a strapless wedding gown while holding a bouquet of red roses.

“Everybody knows the work I do comes with a lot of outside opinions, outside drama and a whole lot of stress,” Overshown said in a joint interview with his new bride. “But when you got somebody at home that you know where your next meal coming from, where your next back rub coming from, that's stuff that you get to look forward to.”

“That's stuff that you actually get up and you're ready to work,” he added. “That little hurt don't hurt as much when you get to come home to a wife, a queen.”

While Babino said getting married in East Texas was a “full-circle moment” for the couple, Overshown emphasized just how special it was to “be at home and share this moment with everybody” on their big day.

In addition to the close family and friends who live in the area, the ceremony was attended by some of Overshown's teammates, former teammates, coaches and members of the Dallas Cowboys organization — including Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer and Falcons running back Bijan Robinson.

"It's a brotherhood,” he said. “When you've gone through the blood, sweat and tears with guys like that, and they show up to moments like this, it means the world.”

Although his teammates were all there to support him while he was recovering from a devastating knee injury in December 2024, Overshown said Babino was “the one to calm me down” when his mental state was at an all-time low.

“She was the one to make sure I got home, make sure I was eating and taking care of myself,” he said. “She stepped right in that role, and it wasn't uncomfortable to me, it wasn't forward. You showed me that you can put me before yourself, that's all I need to know. And she would never have to worry about anybody being put before her for the rest of her life.”
