The clash will be played behind closed doors, the South African Football Association (SAFA) confirmed on Thursday.
Kick off at 15:00 local time in Mexico (23:00 SA time) and will not be televised.
Bafana head coach Hugo Broos had initially indicated that the match would be played on Friday, but the team’s delayed arrival at their training base in Mexico, approximately 24 hours later than planned, appears to have prompted a change in scheduling.
Bafana v Jamaica match played behind closed doors
The friendly serves as South Africa’s final warm-up match ahead of their opening fixture at the 2026 FIFA World Cup against co-hosts Mexico in Mexico City next Thursday.
Kick-off for that match is scheduled for 21:00 SA time.
Broos has suggested he will field his strongest available side against Jamaica as he looks to fine-tune his team before the tournament opener.
The Belgian coach remains concerned about the fitness of left-back Aubrey Modiba, who is nursing a hamstring injury and could miss the match. The Bafana star will not feature against Jamaica but will be ready for the opener against El Tri.
Jamaica head into the fixture having recorded mixed results during the current international window, beating India 2-0 before suffering a 3-0 defeat to Nigeria.
Bafana, meanwhile, are still searching for their first victory of 2026 after playing out draws against Panama and Nicaragua in their previous outings.
