Roma needs to make capital gains by June 30th, and the French midfielder is one of the likely candidates to leave no later than that date.

The Giallorossi, however, are aware of the value of the 2001-born player and doesn’t want to sell him off.

Quite the opposite… Inter have had their eye on Koné since last summer, when an agreement between the parties was close to being reached based on €35 million plus bonuses.

Now Roma is asking for around €50 million, and the deal has become an uphill battle for the Nerazzurri.

Inter are considering signing a midfielder to complete an already solid lineup with top-quality players like Barella.

As Corriere dello Sport reports, the €50 million Roma are asking for Manu Koné is too much for Inter, especially if the club needs to sell by June 30th.

An alternative for Marotta and his teammates could be Liverpool’s Jones, valued at around €30 million (with a resale fee). Currently, the Reds midfielder is ahead of Koné, unless this is a strategy to expose Roma’s cards.
