Dodgers to Give Out Another Yamamoto Bobblehead Wednesday

Fans who make their way to Dodger Stadium on Wednesday will receive a Yoshinobu Yamamoto bobblehead before the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Colorado Rockies.

The bobblehead depicts Yamamoto’s celebrations following the final out of the 2025 World Series, which he closed out. Yamamoto earned World Series MVP for his showing during last year’s Fall Classic, during which he threw 18.2 innings and allowed just two earned runs.

This is the third of three promotions the Dodgers have run against the Rockies during this series, as they gave away a Dave Roberts bobblehead Monday and celebrated Mexican Heritage Night on Tuesday and gave away a jersey.

What Was the First Yoshinobu Yamamoto Bobblehead?

Yamamoto’s first bobblehead came earlier in the season, when the Dodgers collaborated with Nintendo to create a Yoshi bobblehead in Yamamoto’s uniform and promote the “Super Mario Galaxy Movie.” The giveaway drew national attention, and had fans lining up hours before the game.

When is the Dodgers’ Next Giveaway?

Fans won’t have to wait long for the Dodgers to have another giveaway, as the team will have two more bobblehead giveaways against the Philadelphia Phillies over the weekend.

The first of the two comes in the first game of the series on Friday, when an Alex Vesia bobblehead will be available. The following day, a “Mr. Seeds” Teoscar Hernandez giveaway will be available.

After that, the next bobblehead will come when the Dodgers host the Angels for a freeway series rematch on Saturday, June 6. Tyler Glasnow will be the subject of that giveaway.

How Have the Dodgers Performed in Their Series Against the Rockies?

The Dodgers have looked their normal selves during the series against the Rockies, and spectators are likely to get a good showing if they attend the game due to reigning MVP Shohei Ohtani’s presence on the mound.

LA took a 5-3 win with a late rally in the first game of the series, and scored 15 runs in a blowout win in the second game of the series. The Dodgers are chasing their second sweep of the month against the Rockies, and will hope to capitalize on their opportunity to continue distancing themselves from the remainder of the NL West.

The final game of the series comes Wednesday at 7:10 p.m. PT.
