Oregon, Oregon State agree to three-game season series in 2027

The Oregon Ducks are set to host a regional in Eugene as the No. 11 national seed in the NCAA Tournament. Making the trip down from Corvallis, the Oregon State Beavers earned the No. 2 seed in the regional and could set up a rivalry matchup between the programs in the postseason.

The Ducks and Beavers played twice this season, with both sides scoring a road win. A third game was scheduled at a neutral site in Hillsboro, but the game was canceled due to uncertain weather and a tragic accident involving a Beavers player.

Bragging rights and the opportunity to advance to a Super Regional could be on the line this weekend if the two teams meet. The Ducks were visibly excited as the Beavers were announced as the second seed in the Eugene Regional, and there is certainly no love lost between the in-state rivals.

Oregon coach Mark Wasikowski announced that the Ducks and Beavers have agreed to another three-game season series for the 2027 season. The agreement includes one game at PK Park and another at Goss Stadium, with the third at the new Hillsboro Hops Ballpark.

Similar to how it played out this season, the games are likely to be spread throughout the season as midweek contests, rather than a weekend set.

The Beavers beat the Ducks in Eugene back in March, snapping a six-game winning streak for Oregon in the rivalry dating back to 2024. After the Hillsboro matchup was canceled, Oregon got the best of its rival in Corvallis in April.

Oregon State leads the all-time series against Oregon with a 48-31 record. The Ducks are 19-19 against the Beavers at PK Park and just 11-26 on the road in the series.
