Mackenzie Gore is trending towards making his next scheduled start on Sunday after leaving after one inning with lat tightness in his last start.

Brandon Nimmo exited yesterday’s game with hamstring tightness after hitting a single in the fifth, though Skip Schumaker describes the move as precautionary.

Nimmo says that he expects to be back in the lineup on Friday.

The Rangers won last night on the strength of a wild ninth inning where Skip Schumaker emptied the bench and DH Joc Pederson was pressed into playing right field.

Schumaker attributed the win to his lineup never giving up, with the improbable events of the ninth conspiring to give the Rangers another series win.
