The San Antonio Spurs will try to feed off the momentum with a 122-115 double overtime win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1. This Western Conference Final series opened with a bang, with Victor Wembanyama going off on a historic night.

The Spurs big man racked up 41 points and 24 rebounds, which is a record for best debut in a conference finals game. Wemby was also the second player in franchise history to hit the 40-20 mark in the NBA Playoffs, joining David Robinson from 30 years ago.

As for the Thunder, this was a head-to-head clash after going undefeated in the first two rounds. The energy was matched between both teams throughout the game. However, outside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams, the Oklahoma City starters combined for 15 points. Alex Caruso was a huge spark off the bench with 31 points in 32 minutes.
