Real Madrid and José Mourinho have reached a verbal agreement and the Portuguese manager will sign a two-year contract with the club, according to a report from AS. The official announcement won’t happen until at least May 24th, per that same report.
Another report from MARCA suggested that Mourinho will have a say in Real Madrid’s transfer decisions. He will likely bring his own coaching staff with him as well, meaning that the club seeks to give him enough power to fix the current issues plaguing the culture inside that dressing room.

This will be Mourinho’s second tenure as Real Madrid’s coach. During his first stint, he won one LaLiga title, one Copa del Rey title and built the foundation for La Décima, which was conquered the year after he left the club.
