Grant had 88 tackles and three interceptions. He also scored four touchdowns on offense as tight end in the fall.

Teammates Simon Grotenhuis (Calvin) and Hayden Fee (Hope) also committed for football and will face each other in the MIAA.

Cross country and track runner Layla Geurink has committed to Cornerstone, an NAIA program in Grand Rapids. Geurink led the Maroons to the Division 2 state championship in cross country.

Cornerstone will also get soccer player Cora Boerman, while fellow soccer player Cora Rigterink committed to Hope.

Boys volleyball player Jacob Tinholt has committed to play at the growing program at Calvin.

All-state diver Sadie DuBois signed with Grand Valley State, an NCAA Division II power that is a perennial top 10 team in the country.
