Byron Buxton has unlocked another level in his slugging as the Minnesota Twins star continues to put MLB on notice in the last two weeks.
Facing Toronto Blue Jays ace Dylan Cease in the bottom half of the first inning, the lead-off hitter sent the 1-2 pitch out of the park for an opposite-field home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and all of them have come in the last 17 games only.
The solo shot to right field sailed 363 ft. and came off the bat at an exit velocity of 99.6 mph.

Buxton started the season slowly, but he has been turning the corner since the third week of April. He has homered in all three home games against the Blue Jays so far. In the series against the Seattle Mariners, also at home, he smashed two dingers in three games.
