Seth Rollins And Bron Breakker Face Off
- Seth Rollins called out Bron Breakker for taking everything from him. He said Bron tries to get everything out of this wrestling business, but Seth actually did it.
- Bron Breakker said he was already on his way to the top of WWE before Seth Rollin’s involvement. Seth mocked Bron for getting “happy endings” form Paul Heyman. Breakker said Rollins was very good at being a No. 2. Rollins challenged Breakker to a match at Backlash and said he wasn’t even No. 2 in his own family.
Penta Def. Rusev
- All Ego Ethan Page watched this match from ringside. Penta has never beaten Rusev in three tries. I found that to be an insane stat considering their relative pushes.
- Penta hit a nifty backstabber on Rusev from the corner. Rusev came back with a Machka Kick as Page looked on in approval. Penta slipped out of the Accolade and faked a springboard move as Rusev jumped. Penta then rolled up rusev for the win.
- Rusev attacked Penta immediately after the loss. Page went to join Rusev, but Rusev scowled at him as Ethan decided against it. Penta got the advantage over Rusev and Page helped with the 2v1. Rusev and Page teamed up to stomp Penta, but Je’Von Evans hit the ring and evened the odds with an OG Cutter on Rusev.

Becky Lynch Def. Iyo Sky | Fans Chant “We Want Kairi”
- Becky bragged about being the first woman to win four different women’s championships at WrestleMania. She’s also won the most WrestleMania matches among all women.
- Becky said it is her duty as a champion to come to “run-down towns” like Laredo Texas. Lynch issued an open challenge against a “new and shiny” opponent and Becky Lynch answered. Iyo said “I accept.” Becky declined because Iyo isn’t new and shiny. Becky compared Iyo to Rhea Ripley and said “I want to fight Shawn Michaels, not Marty Jannetty.”
- Iyo Sky slapped Becky who retreated. Adam Pearce walked up and made the impromptu women’s IC title match official. Becky Lynch was fantastic as a heel in this segment.
- Fans chanted “let’s go Iyo” as Becky Lynch hit a German suplex. Sky draped Lynch’s arm over the top rope and hit a missile dropkick. Becky went for a Manhandle slam and Iyo rolled her up but Lynch slipped away.
- Iyo hit a wicked sunset flip bomb to the outside of the ring. Iyo went for Over the Moonsault, but Asuka tripped her as the referee was distracted. Becky hit the Manhandle Slam for the win.
- After the match, Asuka locked Iyo in a rear-naked joke as fans chanted “we want Kairi!”
Match Grade: B+
Joe Hendry In Concert
- Joe Hendry sang “Joe Hendry’s on Raw” to confirm his main roster call-up. He then rhymed this with “can we fire Logan Paul?” and encouraged fans to sing along, which they did.
- Logan Paul interrupted, and he was turned up to 11. Paul and Austin Theory stormed to the ring and attacked Hendry. The Street Profits made the save and cleared the ring of Paul and Theory alongside Hendry.
El Grande Americano Vs. Rey Mysterio
- The dueling El Grande Americanos will face off in a Mask vs. Mask match on May 30, 2026 in Monterey, Mexico. The new El Grande Americano challenged Mysterio to a singles match to prepare for the biggest match of his career.
- The Texas crowd popped huge for early lucha spots between the two as Rayo and Bravo Americano looked on. A pocket of fans chanted for El Grande, but most of the crowd was into Rey.
- Rey hit a beautiful second-rope moonsault onto El Grande Americano, who caught Rey. Rey then countered with a tornado DDT. Bravo tripped Rey as he went for a 619. Rayo tried putting a steel plate in El Grande’s mask, but Mysterio hit the 619.
- El Grande Americano tried to put the steel plate in his mask, but the OG Americano stole the plate. Mysterio hit a 619 and dropped the dime on El Grande Americano for the win.
Match Grade: B
Oba Femi Def. Grayson Waller
- Oba Femi squashed Grayson Waller after Waller was talking trash about him during a backstage segment. After the squash, Oba announced the Oba Femi open challenge, which is very similar to my idea of the Oba Femi Whiteboy Challenge.
Match Grade: B
Raquel Rodriguez And Roxanne Perez Vs. Bayley And Lyra Valkyria
- Backstage, Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan attacked Stephanie Vaquer. Michael Cole noted Vaquer suffered a shoulder injury during the attack, which is probably a cover for Vaquer being out for a while. Finn Balor warned Roxanne Perez not to trust Liv Morgan and the Judgment Day, but Roxy dismissed him.
- Roxy was beyond a hometown hero in Laredo as fans chanted “we want Roxy.” Fans roared and gave Roxanne a standing ovation when she tagged in. Though the Judgment Day were playing heels, Roxanne Perez was the biggest babyface in the building.
- Fans chanted “let’s go Roxy” as the Raquel Rodriguez lawn-darted Bayley into the post. Perez tagged in and ran wild to the crowd’s delight. Perez tried a Pop Rox, but Bayley countered.
- Liv Morgan distracted Bayley, opening the door for a Shining Wizard by Roxanne Perez followed by Pop Rox on Bayley for the win.
Match Grade: B-
Roman Reigns Accepts Jacob Fatu’s Challenge
- Fans showered Roman Reigns with chants for several minutes before Roman Reigns said it’s been a while before your Tribal Chief came to Texas.
- Roman Reigns said they made the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in spite of him, but it never worked. “The title don’t make the man, the man makes the title.”
- Roman had Laredo acknowledge him, but then Jacob Fatu interrupted. “I’m hoping you made the right choice, Jacob," said Reigns, who wants Fatu to unite the family and not divide it.
- Fatu said he didn’t need a week let alone an hour to think about what he wants. Fatu said that Reigns, Jimmy and Jey didn’t call him, but Solo did. Reigns rhetorically asked Jacob who he thinks runs this place. Reigns said he signed off on Fatu’s arrival.
- Fatu strangled Reigns mid-sentence with the Tongan Death Grip. Fatu snapped as he choked Roman out and vowed he was going to take everything from Roman Reigns. Fans booed Fatu as he raised the held the world title and slammed it on Reigns.
