The Los Angeles Lakers have been devastated by injuries but they still hold a 2-0 lead over the Houston Rockets in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

With the absences of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, it’s been 41-year-old LeBron James who’s set the tone, notching 28 points, eight rebounds and seven assists Tuesday night.

“I don’t even know what that was about,” he said postgame in the locker room, as shared by Dave McMenamin of ESPN. “I got to sit the hell down. I got to sit down somewhere.”

In this series, Lakers coach JJ Redick said it’s not as if James is doing something different. Instead, he’s stuck with what’s worked for him over his 23 seasons in the NBA, as reported by Jeff Zillgitt of NBA.com.

“He brought a level of physicality, and he’s done it throughout his career,” Redick said. “He’s just really comfortable playing that way whether it’s him on a back-down, getting to the basket or him drawing fouls. He forces you to match his physicality.”
