The San Diego Padres mash three walk-offs in one week
The Padres three walk-offs (all extra-base hits) in the span of a week are the most since the World Series winners, the Cincinnati Reds in 1975 (June 27-30). Shortstop Xander Bogaerts hit a walk-off grand slam on April 9, outfielder Gavin Sheets hit a three-run home run on April 10, and center fielder Jackson Merrill hit a two-run double on Wednesday.
