Will Chiefs play narrower next season?
Is it time for Chiefs to play central player Rushwin Dortley in a full-back role for him to invert and make the side more compact? Lilepo proves his worth at the sharp end for Kaizer Chiefs
Ahead of them, the increasingly impressive Glody Lilepo looks the part up top. The 28-year-old, who was signed primarily as a right winger, has four goals and three assists in the league this term. It’s not the most prolific return, but with the support of a youthful attacking midfield trio, he’s a decent short-term option. Duba and Vilakazi scored against Magesi, Lilepo claimed an assist, and Lilepo was the only goal-scorer against Durban City. In a 4-1 beating of Magesi, Khanyisa Mayo got himself on the score sheet, as did Duba, Flavio Silva and Shabalala.
