Emcure, via Mantra Pharma Inc., has acquired 100 percent of Cutimed Inc., a Canada-based company focused on cosmetic and dermatological products. The deal, valued at up to CAD 5.05 million, brings a business with annual turnover of CAD 2.8 million into its fold.

Immediate Integration Completed

Following the acquisition, Cutimed was amalgamated into Mantra effective April 01, 2026, under Québec regulations. This quick integration eliminates duplication and simplifies the corporate structure, with no consideration required for the merger as both entities were within the same group.

Strengthens Product Portfolio

Cutimed develops and commercializes creams, cleansers, and lip care products in Canada. Emcure indicated that adding these capabilities enhances its dermatology and personal care offerings, aligning with its core pharmaceutical and healthcare focus.

The amalgamation is designed to consolidate Canadian operations under Mantra Pharma, which reported an annual turnover of CAD 81 million. Management expects the integration to improve administrative efficiency while supporting long-term growth in the dermatological and cosmetic segments. The acquisition and swift amalgamation highlight Emcure’s strategy of combining expansion with operational consolidation to strengthen its international business footprint.
