A battle between exciting middleweights is headed to Baku.

Michel Pereira will take on Shara Magomedov at a UFC Fight Night event June 27 from Baku Crystal Hall in Azerbaijan. A person with knowledge of the matchup informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous since the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. Ag Fight first reported the news.

Pereira also posted about the matchup on his social media.

Pereira (32-14 MMA, 10-5 UFC) snapped a three-fight losing skid with a split decision win over Zach Reese at UFC Fight Night 267 in Fegruary. Prior to his losing skid, the 32-year-old Brazilian had won eight fights in a row.

Magomedov (16-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) rebounded from his first-career loss to Michael Page with a unanimous decision win over Marc-Andre Barriault at UFC on ABC 9 last July. "Bullet" has kept himself busy by competing in grappling matches against fellow UFC fighters Arman Tsarukyan and Edson Barboza, both which ended in a draw.
