The Vikings' free agency has been a mixed bag of promising, cheap signings, but also some key losses. The team is without a full-blown general manager, but in the interim, Rob Brzezinski has done well to navigate a tough salary cap situation, as well as retain key players.

All of that leads us to the NFL Draft being less than a month away, so the team needs to do one last reflection of their roster. ESPN's Kevin Seifert broke down the team's needs in a recent piece and laid them out as being around the safety, center, and wide receiver positions.
Seifert explains the need at center further, writing, "Ryan Kelly's retirement left the Vikings without an obvious replacement at center. Backup Michael Jurgens started three games last season, and the Vikings converted guard/tackle Blake Brandel to start five more, but it's unclear whether either is a long-term answer."
The team has some options on the offensive line, but at wide receiver and safety, they need to use the draft to find those replacements. For safety, specifically, Brian Flores relies heavily on that position to execute his defensive game plans. The team is waiting for Harrison Smith to make a decision on his future, but regardless, they need to add one more piece to the fold.
