Beavers defenseman Vince Corcoran earns ECHL deal with Worcester

Mar. 26—BEMIDJI — Another Beaver has advanced to the professional ranks.

Bemidji State men's hockey senior defenseman Vince Corcoran is headed to the blue line for the Worcester Railers in the ECHL. Corcoran was an alternate captain for the Beavers during his senior season in 2025-26.

Corcoran had one goal and six assists in 32 games this year, serving primarily as a puck-moving, two-way defender. He finished his career at BSU with four goals and 26 assists in 106 games.

Corcroan came to Bemidji State ahead of the 2022-23 season after three seasons in the North American Hockey League. He had five goals and six assists with the Topeka Pilots in 2019-20 before serving as a captain for two seasons with the Wichita Falls Warriors.

With the Warriors, Corcoran had 12 goals and 71 assists in 112 regular-season games. He also tallied six points in 11 total postseason contests.

Corcoran will join a Worcester team that's 27-26-5-2 and in 10th place in the ECHL's Eastern Conference. The Railers are 10 points out of the final playoff spot in the North Division.

Corcoran will join two other CCHA players who signed with Worcester following the 2025-26 season. Ferris State's Xavier Jean-Louis and Max Dukovac also play for the Railers.

Corcoran is the third Bemidji State player to sign a professional contract this season from the 2025-26 roster.
