There are few names more popular than Sonny Styles’ in the 2026 NFL Draft class.
The raves for Styles are plenteous. The 21-year-old matched his excellence on the field with Ohio State in 2025 with with his historic performance at the 2026 NFL Combine. The popular sentiment in draft projections of late is that Styles will be one of the first 10 names taken off the board. The Tennessee Titans have the No. 4 overall pick in the draft, giving them the potential to do just that.

According to Pro Football Focus’ Jordan Plocher, the Titans select Styles at No. 4 overall on day one of the draft.
“New Titans head coach Robert Saleh already has the franchise quarterback in place with second-year Cam Ward, and now Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles is his quarterback of the defense,” Plocher said. “Styles possesses a rare blend of intelligence, size (6-foot-5 and 240 pounds), length (80 7/8-inch wingspan), speed (4.46-second 40-yard dash) and athleticism for an inside linebacker prospect.”
Forecasting Styles to be a green dot linebacker as a rookie attests to his leadership, as well as his skills on the field. Styles recorded 6.5 tackles for loss as well as three passes defensed in 2025.
Any player other than Indiana’s reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Fernando Mendoza, being taken No. 1 overall is a far cry from what has become the seemingly inevitable. In the event that Styles is still on the board after the New York Jets and the Arizona Cardinals select with the ensuing two picks, respectively, the Titans will have a top prospect to consider at No. 4 overall.
