DOJA CAT MOVED TO TEARS AFTER SA CONCERT

In clips circulating on social media, fans at the Doja Cat concert were heard chanting her Zulu name, “Zandile,” after her performance.

The singer paused during the emotional moment, addressing the crowd with tears in her eyes.

She said, “For a place that I’ve never been to, I sure do feel like I’ve been here before. That’s what’s special about South Africa.”

She continued: “I want to say thank you to everyone here tonight. This is bigger than us, and bigger than me.

“This was one of the most fun shows I’ve ever done. I’m so grateful that it was here”.

‘SHE NEEDS TO MEET HER ANCESTORS’

Doja Cat was born in 1995 to Dumisani Dlamini and his then-partner, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer. After fathering a son, Doja’s brother Raman Dalithando, Dumisani left the US to return home.

Ahead of her concert, Doja told her fans that she reached out to Dumisani to attend her South African concert. She claimed he declined the invitation.

Despite claims that he was a “deadbeat dad, Dumisani claimed he had, in fact, attempted to reach out to Doja Cat. However, his efforts were allegedly halted by the singer’s management.

“They don’t want me to connect with her. I have tried to send her messages on social media,” he told Metro FM

He added, “I’m looking forward to connecting with her because, as a Zulu girl, she needs to come and meet with her ancestors.”
