Social media reactions from Texas A&M baseball's 9-4 loss to Georgia
· Yahoo Sports
It was a tough night inside Blue Bell Park, as Texas A&M dropped its first SEC game of the season in Bryan-College Station against Georgia, 9-4, in Game 1 on Friday.
The Bulldogs' bats were on fire in the win over the Aggies, as they notched nine runs on 15 hits against the Maroon and White. Georgia also slugged three home runs in the contest, one of which was a three-run shot from third baseman Henry Allen in the first inning.

While the Aggies struggled to find a rhythm on the mound in Game 1, left-handed Shane Sdao still recorded a career-high 11 strikeouts in 5.2 innings pitched. Texas A&M and Georgia were forced to burn through 10 total pitchers in the series opener, but the Aggies' lineup left nine runners on base and grounded out into two double plays against the Bulldogs.
There is still plenty of baseball to be played over the weekend in College Station, which provides Texas A&M an opportunity to bounce back and claim its first series win in conference play of 2026. However, the Aggies must get more consistent outings from the pitching rotation, which will be in the hands of right-hander Weston Moss in Game 2 on Saturday evening.

Not a great performance from the Aggies on Friday night
You could argue this was the Aggies worst outing of the season.
