Dolphins WR says he'd beat up former teammate in fight

· Yahoo Sports

While the Miami Dolphins front office and coaching staff are bringing in players to try to build the roster for the 2026 season, the players who are already here are enjoying their offseasons.

That includes wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who was spotted at an amateur fight promotion, where the headline fight was between rapper Blueface and streamer Chibu Dunga.

Before the fights, Waddle was interviewed on the promotion's version of a red carpet and was asked if he'd consider fighting someday. While Waddle was thinking of someone to fight, a former teammate came to his mind.

"Pat Surtain, I would beat the [expletive] out of him. I'd beat the dog [expletive] out of him," Waddle said (video is explicit and NSFW). "There are a lot more people, but that's just top of my mind. I'd beat the dog [expletive] out of bro."

Miami's wide receiver and Denver's cornerback spent all three years together at Alabama from 2018-20 before going their separate ways in the NFL. There's no doubt that Waddle's joking here, but it honestly might be a good fight to see.
