· Yahoo Sports
The Golden State Warriors will have to continue playing short-handed as they deal with a flurry of significant injuries, including Steph Curry and newly-acquired big man, Kristaps Porzingis.

Porzingis missed his first three games as a member of the Warriors after being acquired from the Atlanta Hawks at the NBA trade deadline. After the All-Star break, Porzingis made his highly anticipated Golden State debut against his former team, the Boston Celtics. However, after playing 17 minutes against the Celtics, Porzingis was ruled out against the Denver Nuggets last week due to illness.
After missing the Warriors' 128-117 win over the Nuggets, Porzingis didn't travel with the Warriors on their recent two-game road trip. Despite being upgraded to questionable on Friday, Porzingis has been ruled out for his fourth-straight game on Saturday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.

In his debut with the Warriors, Porzingis registered 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field with a rebound, assist and a block in 17 minutes off the bench against the Celtics.
Porzingis has played 18 games during the 2025-26 campaign and is averaging 16.8 points on 46.1% shooting from the field to go along with 4.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists on the season.
With Porzingis out, the Warriors will lean on a frontcourt rotation that features Draymond Green, Al Horford, Gui Santos and Quinten Post.
