Western Michigan 1, UND 0 — Liam Valente 19 (Colby Woogk, Grant Slukynsky) 3:37. Slukynsky digs a puck off the end wall and cycles it up to Woogk, who is at the point. Woogk wrists a shot to the slot area, where Valente tips it past UND goalie Gibson Homer. It's a Senior Night goal for Valente.
Western Michigan 1, UND 1 — David Klee 3 (Jack Kernan, Sam Laurila) 6:20. Kernan enters the zone up the middle and dishes the puck to Klee on the right wing. Kernan drives the net and Klee flips a backhand from the outside of the circle toward Kernan, but it appears to deflect off of Western Michigan defenseman Zach Bookman and past goaltender Hampton Slukynsky.
Western Michigan 2, UND 1 — Sam Huck 4 (Alex Calbeck) 2:42. Western Michigan's Huck enters the zone on the left wing on a three-on-two rush. He flips a shot from the outside of the left circle toward the crease and the puck sneaks through Homer.
Western Michigan 2, UND 2 — Ben Strinden 15 (Mac Swanson, Keaton Verhoeff) 7:40. Verhoeff makes an excellent play in the neutral zone to force a turnover and start a rush the other way. Verhoeff gets it to Strinden. He hands it to Swanson in the left circle and Swanson gets it right back. Strinden takes the puck to the net from the left side and ties it.
Western Michigan 3, UND 2 — William Whitelaw 18 (Grant Slukynsky) 8:56. Whitelaw skated up the left side with speed, turned UND defenseman E.J. Emery inside out and created space to cut toward the middle. When he got to the slot, Whitelaw snapped it past Homer to give the Broncos the lead.
