Top UNC basketball recruiting target sets decision date

The North Carolina Tar Heels' men's basketball program is entering a big week. After going 1-1 this past week with a loss to Miami and then a win over Pitt, they will have two more games this week, including a road showdown with NC State on Tuesday.
But before they hit the court, a key piece of the future will be making their decision in terms of his recruitment.

On Tuesday, five-star guard Dylan Mingo is set to make his decision as he will announce his commitment to a program. He will pick between North Carolina, Baylor, Penn State and Washington, doing so live with Stephen A. Smith on ESPN at 11:00 a.m. ET.
Mingo was reportedly set to commit in January but pushed it back. While rumors surfaced he could commit to a program at any time, he's now set his decision for Tuesday.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound combo guard is ranked No. 8 nationally, No. 3 combo guard and the No. 1 player in the state of New York per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
As it stands right now, many believe the Tar Heels are the favorite to land him come Tuesday. They have the lone crystal ball prediction on 247Sports.
