Williams chose Miami over Georgia and Florida State. The talented lineman currently has an official visit scheduled to Georgia on May 29 despite committing to Miami, and the Dawgs could still prove to flip Williams following his trip to Athens this weekend. The 6-foot-4, 320 pound lineman has elite size and strength as well, and Williams would have been a huge pickup for the Dawgs’ offensive line in 2027 and beyond.

Williams is ranked as the No. 6 IOL and the No. 92 overall player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Rankings. He is listed as the No. 4 overall player out of Alabama, and Williams is expected to enter his first season at Miami with a critical role on the Hurricanes’ offensive line.

Miami has recently flipped some of Georgia’s top talent from their 2027 recruiting class. 5-star CB Donte Wright recently flipped his commitment from Georgia to Miami.
